for countless weeks i have been trying to find out what program out there (free preferably) can i use to turn avi and quicktime files into MPEGS. the reason why i want to do this is cause i have this cool dvd player that can actually give you a slideshow of all your jpegs you have burnt onto a disc and the cooless feature is that whatever mPEGS you downloaded, you can watch it on the dvd player since it reads MPEGs. unfortunately, it doesn't read quicktime and avis. oh and it can read of course mp3s. it's a great dvd player from APEX. cheap but many options.
i have downloaded and used a quite bit of mpeg makers and mpeg converters and such but no luck on finding a good one that works and is easy to use.
what happens is that whenever i convert say an avi file or quicktime file, the audio is right on sync but the video goes faster and gets all out of sync. no matter what setting i go with. unless im doing it wrong.
please help me out on getting the right program to do this. preferably free or a shareware. |
