Apart from what DJPrototypeX and Muff2K already stated, remember that they're a significantly large TV channel in the arab world, and therefore, they show us the war (and the world as a whole) the way the arabs see it (iraqis obviously included). We all know that it's extremely important to know other points of view, specially in a critical time like war. Also, anyone who visited Al-Jazeera website and saw that thing will automatically establish a link between it and ALL American people (hatred can often be irrational, remember that). What if the people you love the most were in Baghdad right now? What if you were told that they've accidentally been shot by the allied troops? You'd like to know more about it, right? Then, when you connect to the internet, and try to look for more info about it, some hacker decided to change the whole thing and now all you see is a flag of one country that might've killed your beloved one(s). Forget about the fact that you're American and think about it as a person. It would suck, wouldn't it?
They only cover the war, that's all they're doing. If this hacker wants to do something for America, he would better be quiet before getting things worse. |

respect to you maaz, but they are also showing how cruel they are being to the Soldiers they are capturing. and they are not doing it in a very honroable way. When the american families of those soldiers see that . lets just say i am glad i don't have anyone over there in the war. I support my troops because i know i wouldn't be able to do it myself. Like Hobbes said. I am a man of feminine courage.
