Hi, when I have a cue sheet for burning a mp3, I normally fill in the Performer and title parts for each track and for the thing as a whole if it isn't already there. But when I put the cd in a drive after burning the drive can never read the text to say the name of each track.
Is there any way around this? Or can CD-TEXT not be done with a cue sheet?
Thanks |

Well if the cue file splits the tracks up into seperate tracks when it burns, and saves each track with the name u have put in, then i shoudl display the name of the track i guess.
Does it just say track1, track 2, track 3 etc????
If so i suppose the only way round it is to cut up the set and name each track and then burn them. |

My drive can write cd-text. Ye, when I put it in it just says track 1. track 2 etc......
not too much of a problem, would just be nice if i could get it to say that track name. |

| yes, it is possible - and what you've done with the cue sheet is correct. Its the burning software that will either do it or not - check your manual for help on this.... or if you're using nero, its done when you're just about to burn, when it says speed and all that stuff to burn, there is a tab for it somewhere, just enable cd-text and you're right, hopefully... . . |
