Most new DJs just followed the footsteps of the older ones ... 2) Better control and accuracy of mixing. It is a lot more natural to see your music and directly manipulate it on the turntable platter than to push buttons and mess with the jog wheel on a CD player. There are a lot of myths about better sound quality floating around but I highly doubt that anyone could tell the difference between CD and Vinyl (both in ideal condition) on an average club system - it is just too loud to be able to hear the characteristics of the medium. TranceCluber I think if you want to be on top of Djing...u have to know both..... especially with the technology of the internet you might find a song the night before and want to play it u can.....but then there is the control with vinyl.....so i say why not use both...most big clubs or venues will have both set up already so i say learn both.... cuz its not about what you use its about what songs you through down and how well you can mix them.....no matter if its cd or vinyl CLICK TO RETURN TO TOP OF PAGE
