In 1995, Soma records released a 12" called X-traks by percy-X and no one knew who percy-X was. They suggested that harrison crump or claude young was percy-X. Few Months later, another 12" was released odyssey and people were still guessing who was percy-X. Well the smart people released that the answer was closer to europe then they most people thought. Soma is SLAM's label and scottish, so finally when the percy x vs. bloodsugar 12" was released (done with andrew weatherall btw). It was revealed that Percy-X was a guy named Tony Scott. Formally of the group Havana with richard miller which broke up in 1993. Percy-X has produced a ton of stuff since and hardly many realize that the studio engineer that helps tony scott with the songs is actually chris cowie. Well here is some info about his recordings
