Well there are 50Hz and 100Hz versions on tv's.Simple.
But is really the price range soooo different from 50 to 100?
Moreover, does anyone know the goods and bads of 100?
Im in serious need of help(once more)!
anyone with knowledge on the stuff/user?
biznology
umm well...

just judging by computer monitors, where 65 sucks and 70 is standard but still hurts your eyes, i think the higher the rate the better. with tv only moving at about 24 fps tho, im not sure how big of a difference it would be. it depends on your price limit, what components and et al. obviously there would be less flicker with the 100, but unless you are going to have seriously high frame rates from gaming or progressive scan dvds - dunno how necessary|

we have a loewe tv @ home (100 hz, 82 cm) so fackin'brilliant !
absolutly better than any sony or philips

im blind not deaf!! lol that was awesome:)

anyway, the price seems unreasonable(something like 300 Euros difference!) but the more expensive model gives more stuff, like dsp, virtual dolby etc.the expensive ranks 12 in 32 whereas the less expensive model ranks 18.Figures?

does anyone know how the plug from pc-card to tv is called? With all those ports and jacks,im messed!

And how can i achieve good quality in movies from pc to tv? divx would be gr8 on big screen!

if i understand you, 100 is just plain better than 50

s-video links your comp to tv

perhaps you're looking for something like this ?
Dj DoomForce
Grr what if the tv set doesn't have an S-video input?
Can u connect your graphics card(Geforce2 Gts-pro on my occassion) via CVS or RGB?
icedale
well, I have connected my pc with the tv via tv-out, using a composite video cable which was connected to a scart thing and I connect the scart to ehm...the scart "plug" of the tv. But the quality is nothing but good. I have problems with the quality of the colors:whip: usually, with every graphics card that has a tv-out, u're given the corresponding cable(if it's a s-video, composite e.t.c.).So you should have one. You can go to some VCR/Tv service store or sth and ask for a s-video/composite/blah blah adapter that will transform it into a scart(somehow).
Dj DoomForce
Hey icedale thanx for the info,i thought something like this existed but i was anxious about the colours and clarity of the picture!
Whats your set-up really?Graphics card and tv?

Btw you're Greek!

its worth it... its not only the scan refresh rate, but the speakers and sound quality is better.

Are the Wega 29" (the ls versions) considered Digital or Analog?
FuzzyGreen
If you are going to buy a new TV, please make sure it is HD otherwise you might as well shoot yourself. HD is the future and makes TV so much more worthwhile.
