Yeah, they look pretty cool, would be nice to back up mp3s to these, I'll definitely buy some when it's available in the local shops here.

Eeehh.. it says "compatible with music recording only" and i think mp3 is more of a data file so .wav files are ok but .mp3 files are not. Anyway, they look great, would wanna buy some if i only could get them here in Finland. :sadgreen:

Ah, I haven't noticed that. :) I wonder how they make it only for audio though.
btw, by .wav files you meant audio tracks in AudioCD format, I guess. :)

I burned some of these last weekend (with data). They work fine on my computers, but a friend of mine is having problems with them.

If u mean exactly the ones on ur images (03. Hispace Carbon Data limited edition 32x), they are meant for data, so no wonder they work well with data files. All the other items (except 07. Hispace cdr 80 data color 32x) are meant for audio recordings so they might have more restrictions. I dunno really how they work, haven't bought any "real" audio CD-Rs because they cost much more than the data & audio CD-Rs.

I think those audio cd-rs are the same as normal data cd-rs if you burn them on a pc, but you need audio cd-rs if you want to burn them on those cd-recorders. Audio cd-rs just cost more because of the royalties (they will very likely be used for piracy), I assume.

I'll defeninitely get a couple of those and experimet a little . They'd go perfect with Pionner 1000's because you have vinyl mode on 'em and those do look like vinyl .
