just wanted to know what these two guys usually spin on any given night like the style of the music...thanks!! :)
Lynx
pretty much progressive....*scratches head* yeah...but they do other stylez too sometimes.
The Greek
people have so many interpretations on what progressive is can i have an example ot two of what you mean? ide greatly appreciate it!! thank you :)
Lynx
ahhh progressive yes is indeed hard to define. :) but let's not turn this thread into that shall we?

sasha and digweed are regarded as two of the pioneering djs when it comes to progressive music. they're style has trance elements in it as well. just...go with it. hehe.

They don't stick to one genre...progressive house mainly, mixed up with deep house, tech-house, and deeper progressive breaks(Ashtrax, etc).
The Greek
i think i get what your saying leaning more toward chill out trance than pounding stuff?

yeah that's about right. i would exactly say chill out though, some of their sets can get pretty energetic imo. :) they occasionally play bangin' sets...but not usually.
The Greek
ok thats what i wanted to know thanks :)
majere
iv always considered it dream trance but maybe thats just me
Lynx
dream trance?? nahh...dream trance is like robert miles and some of dawnseekers stuff.

majere
yea your right now that i think about it but i wouldent consider really uplifting so i have to say maybe there just TRANCE :D

Buy Northern exposure, that's the best example of their style.
Sasha plays progressive trance, Digweed plays progressive house and trance.
Digweed is starting to veer towards more trippy stuff now aswell.
The two together play very powerful deep grooves. It's where house and trance collide and they select the best bits.
You won't be hearing much Tiesto/Armin/Yahel stuff but I'd advise going to www.cluboxed.co.uk and take a look at the tracklistings on their Global Underground CDs.
