OMFG PVD TORE S**T UP!!!! :eyespop:  :eyespop:
He layed it down HARD the entire time! And like djarecebo said, the VIBE and Necto....INCREDIBILE!!! Cause like 99% of the people were there for PVD. It deffinitely beat the Roxy crowd last time I saw him. Everyone was just goin NUTS!! Man the place was packed....a little too much for my taste...but not too packed by club standards. No one had a problem getting in either as far as I know, the line wasn't bad at all.
Many of us DCSers showed up at around 6 tho, or even earlier and did some pre-partyin before the show. :D But we all got in line about 6, and my friend parked his jeep right in from of Necto and was blastin trance music the whole time :D Of course we were the loudest bunch in the line...shoutin and hollerin...hehe :p LOL...this lady that DIDN'T know how to parallel park was tryin ta park right in front of us, did a terrible job of it. Then got out and gave us all dirty looks (of course we were makin fun of her). My friend told her she was gonna get a ticket and she gave him a really nasty look, and went in ta the book store next door. Like 5 min later a meter maid comes by with a tape measure...oooops, over a foot away...hehe, so she got ticketed..haha!! :toothless
When we got in Kenneth Thomas was layin down some atmospheric DnB which was not to my taste. Tooo slooow. That was the most quiet I have ever seen Necto, I could actually carry on a normal conversation without yellin. That only lasted for the first hour tho...then he started droppin house/progressive tracks which were pretty good. KT wasn't his usual self, he was doin an excellent job of warming up for PVD. Then about the last hour of KT's set he was really tearin it up!! The crows was already goin NUTS at this point...and he dropped Solar Stone - Seven Cities (V-One's Living Cities Remix) Which, actually I'm quite sick of.....but the crowd really liked it. Oh and Andain - Summer Calling...that track I looooove :p
Then I look up and see PVD diggin through his vinyl...I point him out ta my friend Mandi and she starts screamin, goin crazy hehehe!! So PVD came on and the crowd!! Oh the crowd!! We just kept that vibe goin the whole night and PVD had ta be feelin it!! Its soooo cool ta see PVD play at such a small venue...and Necto is known for it great vibe and excellent crowd, which is why they worked so hard to pull him in there instead of someplace bigger.
For a Revolt mixed into For an Angel....SWEEET :D And his encore was awesome....Nothing But You (Vandit Club Mix), Circ - Destroy She Said (De Donatis Mix) and Nu NRG - Take Your Air 2002!!!!
Hearing the Vandit Club Mix of Nothin But You live...I really like it, but still doesn't beat the pure ownage of the unfinished version IMO. Overall it was a perfect night! And PVD musta had a great time so I hope he comes back :)
Oh, his first track was Plastikman - Spastik, hmmmm....little tribute to Richie Hawtin there? hehe |

Ok, that show was so dope. I first saw PvD in Columbus this year and that show blew me away. Then in my own backyard, with all of my friends & TAs, the Necto show just completely crushed the Columbus one. I still can't believe that happened last night.
Anyways, I heard that the remix of Coldplay was actually titled 'Time' and that the remix listed wasn't correct. I'm not sure either way, but I was wondering if anybody had the full set list and possibly Kenneth Thomas's set list also, that D&B was the shiat.
Peace:eyespop: |

Add these to the tracklist djarecebo:
Plastikman - Spastik (his first track)
Murk - Dark Beat
Gus Gus - David (Dave Aude Mix)
Arc En Ciel - The Juice
and change Coldplay - Clocks to Michelle Nicol - Time |

Yes dubs, quite possibly one of the best nights of my life. We had the best party group in the entire place :D The crowd was just unbelievable, never seen so much energy. Cant wait for the next big thing at necto... |

Were you at the dinner? I was sitting next to Sebastian, the German guy.
I may be in Chicago for AVB, theres a huge group of DCSers going and we're getting our own VIP section next to Armin :D
I'm not sure if I can make it yet but I'm trying as hard as I can. |

| Yo djarecebo....like you were saying, our group at the Necto was totally the shiat, and all the TA's can see the 9th Power and the raging circle at Club Bleu in Detroit when the man known as Tiesto shows up. I know I'll be going, and I'm sooo sure the majority of the others will be there. Seriously, I mean going clubbing is one thing, going to see DJ Tiesto in Detroit, the city I've grown up around for my whole life and the originator of the genre, is just frankly awsome. I can't wait man....that is all...peace. |
