A few months ago I posted my remix of Heavens Caliber. It was quite good back then, and many of you liked it but.... these days my standards are rather hihger when it comes to making music. Lets say on a more professional level. The older version was too long, had dull moments that dragged for no reason, and didnt have enough effects and stuff like that to keep it interesting. Not to mention the beats, heh these days my beats are busy as hell. Anyway I started reworking my remix for the better and I have a little clip to share with you guys.

Not too shabby indeed.
Only thing I don't like is that the highs are drilling a hole in my head :) All your percussion elements sound very metalic and are not warm at all. I'd recommend you cut down the highs as this would probably be the case in a club as well, and it would probably increase the annoyance factor 10 fold. |
