I think it depends on the individual DJ as well as the promoter of the event. |

| so did everyone decide to get refunds or are we all keeping the tickets just in case the party is postponed? |

I got a refund of course. Why hold onto something worth 45 bucks in the hope of a party that probably won't happen anytime soon? That's kinda stupid....especially when you can just get your money now, use it for other stuff and if PvD comes in the fall, then go out and buy a ticket for it when the time comes.
Ticketmaster won't refund tickets 6 months AFTER the event was supposed to happen. |

I held onto mine essentially because I never got around to sending it back. :whip: Now I'm nervous about sending it... heh. |

Hmm, July... Interesting. Oh, e. I just got back from Toronto and the thought of getting my ticket refunded didn't even cross my mind then. Ah well. It'll get done... At some point in time. |

July eh and the pricing strategy is going to change? Does that mean the tickets will be more money...say north of 50? I paid 46 bucks for mine at rip off ticketmaster (but got a full refund) and that's about as much as I'm willing to pay to see grumpy PvD play a two hour set like he did at Aria. Tiesto is still my GOD and I only had to shell out 35 for him. I know you guys at temporal rhythm can't control how much he demands, but anything over 65 is a rip off, unless he goes for 6 hours or so.
But the thing that gets me as I think more about it...SARS doesn't look like it's going to go away anytime soon and certainly not by July. I know it's low risk but it always has been and PvD cancelled because of it. In three months time, there will probably be hundreds of cases and dozens of deaths. Seems strange PvD would come back so soon. |

The prices are likely going to go down, not up.
As for SARS, it is not going to ever go away. Anyone who has taken any biology or virology can tell you that. We are going to have to learn to live with this new threat, just as we are going to have to live with West Nile virus. It is likely that the incidence of SARS will without a doubt go down during the summer time, anyway. People spend less time in confined spaces, which is one key element needed to contract the virus.
What we will have to wait for is the development of a vaccine for the SARS virus, but that will take a couple of months non the less.
The July date is not yet confirmed, but it is an option.

PS> Lighten up guys! I seriously doubt that PvD's performance will be weak in Toronto. You always have to remember there are always to sides to the story, one of which you've already heard and the other which you will never hear. |

i'm hitting up a PVD party SARS or not ..
the turnout for iDream was just phenomonal .. i don't think anyone here would want to sit at home for 6-8 months without partying just to wait for SARS to blow over..
like it's been said before, you have a better chance of getting killed in a car accident every time you take to the road as opposed to contracting SARS and dying from it.. the odds are in one's favour and i don't think it's worth living in fear. eventually people will all learn to have to accept this disease and go on with life.. so it's all up to you ..
Get bizzy livin' or get bizzy dyin'! |

| That's the attitude. After all, it's not people are going to stay indoors all summer because of West Nile. |
