lots of g&b remixes used on this set i see.. its always interesting to see djs use less of their work in their sets cuz its like, they are creating their 'sound' using 'other sounds':) |

that makes no sense.
if i make a lot of music, why shouldn't i represent that when i play live?
when a band performs live, usually they play the music which they're known for most and perhaps a few covers as well.
if you make it you should play it.

damn straight ^^^
when i see a dj, i WANT him to play his rmx of a song. sure, its amazing as it is to hear his set, but it adds authenticity to his music if he uses his own mixes.
dave you rock my world! |

I think you play just the right amount of your own material in your sets. It's a good mixture of your own stuff as well as other songs, keep it up!:D
Seems like everytime I hear a new set there's something new from either you or Josh in it, which is a good thing IMO. |

agreed. If dj's produce a lot of tunes then I almost expect to hear them play their new stuff live. I like it when dj's play their own tunes that no one else is spinning, instead of laying down track after track that every other big name is dropping. |

def. i get your point. but i was saying that its interesting to see djs use less of their production in the sets because ppl know your sound anyway.. its cool to see other tracks being used so that it will still fit your style\sound... im not saying the mix was bad or that its bad to use your own stuff alot, im just making a point that its unique and innovative to venture out |

for motorcycle, we're interested in signing the record to a label who is in for the long haul. we're planning on doing a full album, and we want to sign with a label who will best get the project heard.
unfortunately, the record business moves a lot slower than us music freaks, so sit tight and enjoy the track from the live sets you have for now, and please don't whine how "old" it is when it makes it onto vinyl. good songs are good songs, no matter how old they are.
the zeppelin track is different than the one played in the essential mix. in the e-mix we played the actual acappella of the song over a Virgin Souls track, last night i played a remix by australians Phil K vs Nubreed whom i'm very fond of (they're also The Dirty Fours). PQM has been saying he's getting ready to release it..but ive been hearing that for years now, so we shall see.
i don't think tiesto would put a song on his mix cd if he didn't love it.
thanks for listening and continued support!

Ever since I found out who you guys were (your Mindcircus remix) I've been addicted! We need Gabriel & Dresden to invade Miami together (since I know you were here for WMC) Phil K played a great set when I saw him play with Ashley Caselle back to back at Club Maze during WMC.. the Infusion and Grayarea live PA's right after their set were definitely worth sticking around for. Did you get to make it out to that? I'm definitely looking to picking up your latest remixes and productions on wax once availible! :D |
