AND THE 'SCOUSE GO DOWN HARD!!!!
Oh yes, well I predicted it only a few weeks ago on this board, and all the Toon Army Freaks and Gooner fans resisted, but look who has caught up and is tied for first! (Aside from goal differences, yet the April 16th game will settle all!).
David Beckahm, Captain Fantastic is on fine form with England, and low & behold, he whips in a beautiful cross which is met by the studs of Giggs to put it in the roof of the Scousers net!!!
A great combination from our marauding midfield. Ole finished instyle with a Sala! right through Torocae's legs! So sweet! Bring on Real, Captain Marvel, Becks will lead us to victory! United Forever!

In Reference ToThe Above,
ACTUALLY, I am a student going to university in Canada, but I was born and raised in SALFORD BABY! MANCHESTER Through & Through!
But what difference would it make? Do you really feel that a fan can only be from the city or country that they live in? I have met many Manchester United fans over here that have been following the team for years and are as knowledgable as any fan living in Manchester! And they are not bandwagon jumpers because they have liked them since the early 90's, before their turn in fortune.
Let me put it this way. If only the fans of a local team were fans, the economics of football would still be minute. No players would be signifigant sums of money and the profile of the sport would be incredibly lowered. There are Manchester fans all over Asia, and the United States and Canada. I point out these regions specifically, because their local teams are mickey-mouse at best. That is to say, they really do not have any football to speak of and so they look to the areas of the world where football is more popular and more developed and the best teams reside. There are many Canadians where I am for example, that do not like ice hockey. It is the favoured sport though, and football is a much lower echelon concern. It will never get past developmental phases, and we all like to watch the best, and so these fans look abroad. I will take it then, that you never watch the best ice hockey, or basketball, because the best players and teams are over here, and by your logic, you have no right to be interested or support any of the teams or players, because geographically, it is exclusive. And so runs your argument...
Cheers!

But come on, tell us how you really feel! =)
You must be 'Scouse! I hope the Worthlessington Cup is worth us doing the season double on you!
But I do agree, Ruud is a Horse head, no denying it.
My friends an I sometimes marvel at the freaking size of Phil Neville (Caveman Head) and Mikael Sivestre's(permanent E-Jaw) heads. And there is no two ways about it, Seba Veron is a Pirate! slap an eyepatch on him and give him a parrot.
That said, I am Manchester till I die, but this is fun, what other players in the world look like strange animals?
I think Steven Gerard is definately a rat face...but so is Gary Neville! haha!
I can't think of anymore, but sometimes the duldrums of the Premiership make me and my friends (who are usually a little wasted) come up with animal alter egos for the players.
I'm sure there are tons.Cheers!
