Can I jsut take this moment to point out that this is NOT A PARTY. It is, however, a SOCIAL GATHERING.
The difference?
Basically saying it's a social gathering means my mum lets me use the house.... it means less mess, less broken things, less people being sick on my floor and less spilled drinks, and a piss-poor boy:girl ratio. It's a just a chilled out gathering of mates.. which isn't to say you cna't drink or partake of other activites but it's not a club in my house as it were :p

few years back a guy I know called Mike had a "social gathering"
