| I suppose when u get older u want a younger bird. And 31 to 18 aint that bad. If he was 31 and she was 16 then thats sad. Its only 2 years but still. |

i think that u and her will both be able to accpet the fact that there is that 14 year difference..
i'm betting it's gona be her perents.. and his kids who are gona have the reallly trouble with..
if i'm going on a low catch here... hes deffenetly only 10 years younger then her dad..
and just maybe.. she is twice the age of one of his kids..
it will be a lot of problems between the fmamiles it self.. when it gets out,
so really untill then u can feel discusted and try to take her out..of the situatin.. but when her perents find out about the age difference.. and the kids will know ... u have to turn your tables and support her... |

if it's in high school.. the only prob will be with your friends.. and who u hang out with..
if u hang out with her younger friends.. or if she hangs out with your age friends..
if it's over 20.. wot diff does it make..
if your over 20 and shes under 20 then it's just a learning experience that is fun to go threw.. for the both of u ... the older one is leaveing teenagerhoo and the yonger one is entering adulthood...

Wow, I didnt expect such a range of reactions!
But as quickly as it started, it ended. Last night she saw her mom hitting on the guy at the club...so she feels a bit stupid now. |

well I have this girl that seems to love me (I'm not bragging, trust me :() and shes 3 years younger than me. I can tell the differene ther, I'm 16 nearly 17 and shes 14.
But if theyre both adults, thats fine. Unless he's wrinkled and greyhaired, that could be a problem ;) |

i think there is a limited age you should date based on the stage you are in your life
31 & 18 are two completely different generations
if he was like 45 and she was 32...then it'd be more acceptable because they'd both be settling down in their life
but i mean he's already been married, has kids and is basically where he will be for the rest of his life
she's still in bloody highschool
i dunno...some people say love has no boundaries but i beg to differ

| 31 is no big deal. when i was 22 i hooked up with a guy who was 37. but he had never been married and had no kids. that makes a big difference. it is your experiences and maturity that defines you, not your age. |

This is the same type of generalization used by racists, sexists, and homophobics to justify their hatred. You assert (with no evidence) that one group of individuals tends to exhibit some characteristic (or set of characteristics) with greater prevalence than some other group of individuals. Now, I am not saying you are "hating" anyone, but it the same type of fallacious reasoning.
If all you have to go on is age, then don't judge the person at all . Go collect more information, or just have a little faith in your friend. |
