I'm afraid I have some bad news, guys.
One of my hard drives died yesterday and I have been unable to use my PC during yesterday and today.
Now, this was not the drive I had the mix tracks in, BUT because it's the master drive it has totally blocked me from using my PC.
Luckily most stuff on the drive is easy to get back and it's mostly a case of reinstalling programs from a cd... but chances are I also lost the full Outsource album (with cover arts and all) that me & Kier have been working on. I may also have lost about 80% of all the working files of tracks I've made so far as well as some unfinished stuff and a load of refills and samples I've been collecting over the last 1,5 years.
I am hoping that the drive will work as a slave so that I can save most of the stuff from the drive before it totally blows up. If not, well... needless to say I will be pretty ing devastated.
This all, however, will not affect the mix. I WILL do it, but obviously other things will take priority for now. I am still unsure whether the mix will even get delayed but if it will then you'll know why :)

ohhh... feeling sorry for you mystery... if something like that happend to me.. oh god....
will start to burn some CD's when i get home next week...

| Shiiiiit Mr. Mystery that is really bad news :( I really hope that you can get that drive working again...this a futile suggestion but have you tried it in somebody else's PC? Keep us (and especially me) updated man! |
