really? mp3 that was released wasn't mastered, so it'd have sounded pretty bad on a big system.....

if u suported the artist, u wudn't go downloading their stuff, and u'd go n buy the record when it gets released!
But its tru that alot of people dont do this and say that they suport the artist. |

Artists know that mp3 rips of their tracks is inevitable when it gets promos or TP. That doesnt bother much artists anymore because there is all they can do about it.
Its just annoying when an mp3 gets leaked months before a release against the artists will.

to be fair, i bet everybody has in the past downloaded 1 mp3 or any other music file that is illegal copyrighted stuff and not bought the tune, yet not deleted the file within 24 hours...
it only brings it home when it is your own, but that's life unfortunately :( |

i agree... im not bitching over the fact that there will be an mp3, its the fact that its not even been studio mastered or pressed yet and its already out there! |

| Dave u can put me right on this if i have it all wrong but didnt u used to run an ftp fill it with new tunes and actively encourage people to download. Personally i think if people really like ur tunes they will buy them even if they have the mp3 because personally for me mp3 is a good way to get an early look at what i'll be buying in the coming weeks or months so anyone who is going to buy the vinyl coz they like the tune is likely to anyway. |
