nice!

are those edible?
SAGE2635
can u imagine waking up to see one sitting on your blanket cover or worse see one sitting on your pillow? :D It used to happen to me during my boarding school years back in India... scared the out of me the first time (I was in grade 2) but eventually grew out of it cuz you see so many of them during the rainy season.

You guys are lucky you don't see much spiders/insects here unlike in the tropics. I guess they all die of cold during winter.

I don't think you'd find those here in Canada. It would be too cold for them to survive during the winter.

Great thread for the arachniphobics, infinity HiGH. :disbelief
Like SAGE2635 said, those things are much more common in the tropics. One of my father's aunts actually died from a scorpion bite and it's not uncommon in Brazil to see spiders the size of dinner plates. (Now think about that one when you sit down to eat tonight. ;))

if i saw this thing in my house, i'd just turn around and move out. I wouldn't even pack cause I wouldn't wanna risk that thing getting in any of my boxes and following me to my new country of residence.

Kind of ironic that I posted this thread, since I hate spiders :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:
