I currently do not have the ability to host an e-commerce site on my server. There's a lot of overhead involved with that (getting a secure server, building an ordering system, processing shipping, etc.). As such, I have decided to go with a popular outside vender, namely CafePress. Don't worry about your order being secure; your personal billing and shipping information is not recorded by us and won't be asked for until you are already within CafePress' secure, encrypted servers. [Top] Who or what is CafePress? CafePress is a Web-based company that offers to individuals and organizations the ability to create merchandise (shirts, mugs, mouse pads, etc.) in a made-to-order fashion. Their customers can create a "store" and fill it with merchandise of their own design. Stores are free to create and cost nothing to maintain. All transactions are handled by CafePress' secure Web servers. [Top] I thought CafePress gave you a default order form to use. Why did you build your own? CafePress does indeed provide their customers with a default form, but it only has items from a given store listed. Since CafePress stores can only have one design per item (one T-shirt design, one sweatshirt design, etc.), a user who wants to have multiple designs must open multiple stores. To simplify things for you, I have consolidated these confusing multiple forms into one quick and simple shopping form. [Top] What payment methods does CafePress accept? CafePress primarily accepts credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If you'd like to pay by check or money order, just fill out the order form as usual, click the "Check Out" button, then print the resulting page generated by CafePress.
