| The teaser trailer to the Stephen Spielberg and Tom Cruise remake of the World Of The Worlds, Just came online, It wont be out til Summer 2005, Hopefully it will be better then the original, You can watch the teaser trailer here. |

the original was mint, and i still enjoy it today. ive been waiting for the speilburg version for ages, and i just hope he doesnt it up. i dont think he will though. star wars and war of the worlds all in one year,ooooh i cant cope.
and i believe that the war of the worlds film is going to be in three parts lord of the rings styleeee |

yeah they'll probably wrap up filming in a couple weeks, and then for the next 6 months they'll spend post production on digital effects and stuff like that.
Its kind of funny how films can be wrapped up in 2 weeks or less (initial filming) and then spend half a year getting all the effects and images to look right. |

Very true, They spend all that time, Just to make sure all the effects and stuff look realistic as possible, For a movie standpoint. |

ye im being serious!! i heard there are going to be three films, i think it was a film programme where i got it from, but in case i make an arse of my self i best investigate it further ;) |

Wow, I don't know if I would want to see 3 parts.. Come on, I know what happens, I'm sure they can make WAr of the Worlds in about 2.5 hours.
That's rediculous if it is three parts. |

| I read the book recently and really liked it. Afterwards i was like: they should do a remake of the calssic one :P Still haven't seen the classic version, any ideas on where to d/l it from? couldn't find it at suprnova :( |

well after lotr i think hollywood thinks it would be a good idea to make epic films into numerous parts |

| War of the worlds, Has been around for a very long time, It was first written as a book, I think in the 19th century, Then sometime around the 30s or 40s, They made a radio play which caused a lot of controversy around the country, People thought there was an alien invasion, Then I think around the 50s or 60s, the first feature film based on it was made, After that, Around the 90s, They made it into a TV series that took place a decade or two after the first film, And now in 2005, we have a remake, Which I hope will be twice as better, Even though theres been several alien invasion films, Such as Independence Day and Mars Attacks, I hope they do a whole lot better on this one. |
