After reading through LiquidX's post about love at first sight kinda got me thinking about the one that got away :(
I'm just curious about how everyone feels about one night stands? For me, I friggin' absolutely love it no phone number, no commitment, never have to see her again, no nothing! :D But every once in a while a girl comes along that you'd wish you'd stay in touch with.
I met this girl at a club this one time, there was something really special about this girl. To this day I still don't know what it is. I think it was pure chemistry between us. I was immediately attracted to her she was absolutely gorgeous, short blond hair, blue eyes, but I think it was her smile that did it for me. She had one of those smiles that can make you feel good all over just looking at her.
Anyways, I can't remember how our conversation got started but we were sitting next to each other and I believe we were talking about the music or something. We emded up talking for like 3 or 4 hours and it was great. I actually found myself "listening" to what she had to say :D and found it interesting. I grew more fond of her as I got to know her better. She was so sweeeeet!
To make a long story short, we ended up making out like mad at the club (which come to think of it now, it was kinda cheesy) We were basically all over each other, and didn't care about anything else. When she started licking the back of my ear (which drives me crazy everytime a girl does that :eek: ), it was time to take her back to my place :D .
It was so perfect except for one thing. She told me earlier in the night she had a boyfriend!! This was such a turn-off :mad: .
I already knew about it earlier in the night but I didn't care, but in the morning it was a big reason why I didn't ask for her phone number or anything. Now I can't even remember her name ( I think it was Lisa, but I'm not sure)
I'm really starting to regret it now because the night was so perfect and magical . Sorta like what LiquidX said on his post, how a girl looks at you and you can feel it. When we said goodbye to each other, we just stood there and didn't say a word, just looked at each other's eyes for about 15 minutes (it was such a sad but loving feeling...er, I'm at a loss for words here, I can't describe it.) I'm sure she was standing there waiting for me to ask for her number, but I was so gutless. I still remember how she left. We kissed, and then she took my hand and held it up to her cheek for a while and then kissed the back of my hand...(sniff, sniff....I'm gonna start bawling)
I haven't given a second thought to any of the other girls I've had one night stands with, but I really felt I messed up on this one, because I still think of her and I'm not sure how close she was to her bf. Those who have been through the same situation probably knows what I mean. Normally one night stands turn out to be anything but memorable, but this girl was really different.
Have you ever had a one night stand that you regret not getting to know the person afterwards, and not just another booty call? |

Well I had 1 one night stand. and Im glad it stayed as that. I dont ever want to see or hear from her again!
Tho they can be quite damagin to somebodys ego if they feel that they were 'used' |

Well, it seems like you had a great time with that girl and that`s what you should see it as since you don`t have her number. Maybe you`ll meet her again at that club and if it happens again you should definitely ask her for her number. Maybe she`d be happier with you than with her boyfriend? Who knows? If she goes for it and you don`t have anything against it then you should do it...
Just my opinion.
BTW: I only once felt sorry for a one night stand because after I woke up and looked at her I thought: Oh my god, what have you done!!! But she left without bothering me again.:toothless
It`s like in the Nike commercial: Just do it! (If you feel like doing it)
Man I think this topic will be a tough discussion between people from Europe and the US. This topic is far more relaxed in Europe which is good...:p

I see your point, Trancewave....
But also realize this: would you REALLY want a relationship with a girl who is so quick to cheat on her boyfriend? Girls like that are the ones that are good for one-night-stands only..... you don't want to get emotionally involved with her or you could end up emotionally broken :(

Yeah, I know what you mean that's why it's so hard to take. Why does it always have to be this way? You thnk you meet someone that's pure gold and then reality sets in. That's odd though, she doesn't seem like the type that would cheat on her bf at all.

well..
I'm a virgin as most of you know. One of the many few here probably:) It's ok though, 'cause I'm also one of the youngest. But umm I don't think having sex is a huge deal. I'm just not that type of girl to have a "one night stand." I guess I like to be in a relationship do actually do stuff.. if you know what i'm saying;) Ok that is all.
