Was heading to uni for my afternoon class and the bus I was in crashed into this black motor (dunno the make) Got quite a shock, if it any harder, even a tad, I would've broke my chin and neck. The other 4 passengers were alright.
Any of you guys been in car accidents, or anything similar? If so did you brush off lightly or go to hospital for anything? |

i've been in a car accident earlier this year, and a similar bus colission( a car bumped into it ). In the first one i've had a couple of bruises and the lady in the other car had a broken bone. Nobody suffered in the second one. |

My wife was driving on the interstate when a box truck coming in the other direction came over the 4ft high wall separating the carriageways and landed on top of her car. Lucky to be alive...the police thought she had died and told all the witnesses that was the outcome!
All of my uncles have survived horrible motorbike accidents, and my father was following an 18 wheeler through an industrial estate when it stopped suddenly and started to reverse up and over his car, got to within two feet of the windscreen when it stopped....
I've been lucky |

was going along the carriageway at around 80mph when a truck pulled out across the road and stopped blocking the road ahed side on. I skidded and went straight into the side of the truck tried my damndest to go through the windscreen (no seatbelt worn here!) scarred my head for life and have a screw holding my ankle together. was in hospital for only 4 days but was ed for 3 and a half months. The state of the post(mail) van I was driving was so bad the post office used a pic of it as a national poster campaign warning other posties to drive sensibly and to check their vehicles properly before venturing out.
I was completely un-blameworthy and was awarded just under £13000 in compensation
also 11 days after passing my test went head on into a land rover wedging the landies bumber over the front wheels of my dads car and completely righting it off. that was my fault, trying to rally around country roads when you've just learnt to drive is a stupid idea:haha: |

Even though you weren't wearing a seatbelt? I understand it is pretty normal for posties not to wear selt belts when popping between houses but it sounds like you were on a much busier road... |

Yeah, I'm fine. I was sitting at the back so there was more room. I was a bit shaken, that's all. ;) |

I was rear-ended (lol) once. I came up to a stoplight and there were stopped cars in front of me. Just as I came to a stop I could see in my rear-view that the car behind me was not going to be able to stop. Right as he hit me I turned the wheel so that he pushed me into the left-hand turn lane instead of into the car in front of me.
I was fine from the accident, my upper shoulder/trap muscles were a little sore the next couple days. The poor kid got out of his car and he was shaking really bad, it frightened him that much. His airbag had gone off and really burned (friction burn) his left arm pretty good. |
