anybody wanna hear it? i know i posted this before so many ppl might have heard this one... but now it's easier to download :)

Hya Wim!
I've heard it and forgot to give you my thoughts... OK...
So first of all, the sorta breakbeat thing is kinda boring/annoying for me, cause it doesn't change or twist at all, try giving it shakes n bumps here and there (Hope you know wt I mean).
And the main melody is not changed enuff, it uses that kuul sound of yours but I think you should have changed the original track's melody quite a bit - you got the talent for it, use it.

And just one mark that applies to most of your tracks: You tend to have really long breaks in your tracks, that's cool cause there is more atmosphere and drama but on the other hand, if you aim for clubs as well (And trust me, your tracks are worth playing in clubs), then a club mix or simply a long version should have shorter breaks, cause ppl don't always wanna stop for 2 minutes and wait for the peak... Sometimes they want a short break at most and then back to raving.
I'm not saying you should shorten the breaks on each track you make, just try to vary...

Hope these help...

CyA,
Good Luck

not a bad remix, a bit over to the monotone, but its ok i guess...
Lightworks
ok thx oDrori :)

the original takes quite a while to get off as well though... so it's kind of a long break in there too :) But i know alot of people think it should be shorter... i'll see what i can do; do a remake of my remix or so :)

I added the breakbeat just to experiment, not exactly to vary, but that problem is easily solved. i didn't use it anymoer in my latest tracks though.

thx again ;)

I quite like it, too. Good synths, beats, etc. The piano chorus seemed a little weak, though.

Out of curiosity - What soft/hardware did you use to make it?
Lightworks
thx Shoes :)

I did this one almost all with fruityloops 3.40... mastering as well. But I'm quite pleased with it, dunno what some people have against that program :)

Cheers, thx again ;)

Wow. I would at least thought there was some Cubase work there. I use Fruity alot, too. People just dismiss it because of the name. It's a very, very good program, though. And affordable :)

What did you use for the synths? Surley it wasn't the 3xOsc?
KilldaDJ
ooo!
come to think bout it, its very good indeed! :D
i added a few filters and a wide eft and some pitch [+6] and it snds gr8! :toothless
Lightworks
Yep the main synth lead was done with a 3xOSC, but with alot of flanging, reverbing, EQ'ing... etc :)

It's kind of a silly name i know... 'fruityloops'... sounds indeed a bit amateurish/weak for such a music program :) but it's such a good program with ALOT of opportunities... if you can tweak them right that is :)

see you later!

hehe good killaDJ :)

but make sure u don't do anything like a copyright issue here! just kidding... glad you enjoyed the track :)
maybe i have to shape up the pitch a bit, but maybe it sounds a bit more cheesy like that? well, you can make it sound like you like best :)

cheers!
