Well i've got one now. It's been there for nearly two hours now. Can't get the bloody thing out!
Anybody had any luck with removing a throat obstruction before :conf: |

| I'm paranoid about properly chewing my fish before swallowing. Don't you normally need the aid of a nurse/doctor to get those little fuckers out? I don't think it's gonna shift by itself. |

Oh yeah, been there and no fun. I used big chunks of potato to dislodge it. I've heard bread can be good too.

Attempted:
- Swallowing bunches of boiled rice without chewing, sticky and jasmine
- Drinking juice
- Drinking water
- Swallowing bread pieces, with and without water
- Coughing
- Sticking my finger down my throat
- Broke an egg into a cup and swallowed whole
- Swallowing piece of chocolate whole
Not attempted:
- Vinegar (we don’t have any in the house)
- Sleeping on it
- Peanut butter (don’t have any here)
I guess I’ll just sleep on it and if it’s not gone in the morning then it’s off to the hospital. |

I've only ever had a fish bone stuff in my throat once which lasted for about an hour. It felt huge but after I managed to cough it up, it was quite small.
I have some peanut butter, I'd give you some of that if I could. ;) |

It might not even be stuck in there, it might have cut the back of your throat and feel like it's in there... |
