Thousands of competitors took part in the Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run at Orchard Beach in New York Sunday. The race included military obstacles, running, wading in the water, crawling through mud and scaling a wall covered with soap.
I would kill myself before I'd set foot in any water near Orchard Beach...that has to be one of the worst beaches in NY. I seen diapers floating and washing up on shore.

Why go to New York and run through mud, when you can come to the UK and chase cheese down a hill?
Remember to book the next 4 weeks off work to allow for the inevitable injuries. :p

For the participants, it's to chase the cheese and get to the bottom first in order to claim it. For the spectators, it's to laugh at everyone injuring themselves.
