Trance clap
why don't you just sample the clap from the Delirium song? Then you have the clap sound you want.

I cant remeber the tunes clap but i find you get a much better result by using a snare on the 5th and 13th rather than a clap. Get a long drawn out abrassive snare and put some reverb over it.???

Just use the clap sound from a tr-909 and apply a little reverb. I don't know the song, but i take it the clap comes on the kick (2 and 4). If you get rebirth, it has a 909 emulator. Take the clap sound from that, chop it up in a wave editor like sound forge and apply reverb to it, then rack the sound up through fruity or redrum in reason and turn it into a contrinuous loop.

You got to have a Noise gate and a Reverb processor/plug-in. You can both find them in programs like Logic, and Soundforge too I think.
You just have to apply some reverb to the clap (take for example a clap from the Waldorf Attack VSTi.), and after that you apply the noise gate. On the noise gate you mostly have to adjust the treshhold. This way you can get exactly the clap from Delerium.

Try using the clap sample from the LM-9 drum VST unit it comes in *.wave format and it sound very clean.
