hey!

I want to have both Logic 5.5 and Cubase SX on my PC. I wonder if its possible to use the same Vst synths and effects on both programs. Do i create one vst plugin folder for both programs then or?

I don't know anything about Logic, but probably not.

I think you'll probably have to install each plugin both in the Cubase vstplugins folder, and the equivalent one for Logic. Some plugin installers allow you to install into more than one directory anyway, otherwise you might have to copy the plugin files manually.

They will both need a plug-in folder. Just put them in both. Most VST programs are just dll. files, so it shouldn't be too much trouble

hold on hold on...no you do NOT have to put the vst's in both of the programs vst folders!

in cubase you can select your vstfolder so what you do is install cubase, install logic and use logics vstfolder for both....although I don't see why you wan't both logic and cubase with vst's
