In september of 2005, Carleton School of Architecture will be having its annual party, Kosmic. Now we're in the beginning stages of planning the event and I'm wondering if anyone would like to sponsor the event, get their name out with this event to a young crowd, as well as support this unique party.
I'd also like to ask you all for your advice on booking DJ's, or recommending DJ's that travel through the canadian circuit often. If anyone can give me some advice, I'd extremely appreciate it.

awesome!
I went to Kosmic twice while I attended Carleton University. When it was purely a rave party.
What sorts of money are you trying to fundraise. You should definitely try and raise as much as possible. Maybe one of these Production companies like Destiny like to get involved in this.

Oh jesus I gota come back to this site more often... I've drifted to house... sorry guys lol haha
Anyways. We're looking for any sponsors that want to provide us with materials or any kind of financial support in return for advertising the event and etc. The format isn't quite set yet but I've inquired upon Mark Oliver, and other DJ's in Montreal, and we have a bit of an urban connection in small town ottawa as well, so we'll see how it goes.

Its under new management now.
In our honest opinion the past several Kosmic's have been pretty sad. Our Goal is to resume the prestige that Kosmic was once known for, and will be known for again. September 2005 Kosmic will blow you away. After you buy the ticket that is =P

Does anybody know the contact info of these DJ's so that Kosmic can contact them for booking info?
TAKE NOTE! If these DJ's are booked @ Kosmic:
a) not only will it be an amazing party with great djs
b) it will be a party with local (ontario/quebec) talent
c) we will shake our asses like the dirty ass-shakers we are

you also have to rmmemeber that kosmic is not a huge budget affair, they couldnt even afford 500 for trevor walker last year. but if for some reason they can get alot more financial backing without jackin ticket prices up, the possibilities are limitless.
also admin is going to bea dick on this one ever since the "incident" involving a fire alarma dn a campus security office, they have been trying to shut this party down. but as i said before AAzn_Scratch, you have my help if you want it
