pitch increase qustion

I'm using Ableton and have a question about pitch:

How do you create those really long pitch increases for sustained synth notes?

For instance, in buildups.

Is there a tool in Live I'm missing? I played with the pitch bend and it doesn't do what I need it to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i afraid you can't do it.. at least i couldn't

my idea about it is to chop the sample and set the different transpose to each chunk, but i havn't tried that yet so it could be not efficient

edit:

ok.. i figured something out, you can drop a sample to session view, hit the rec button, play the sample and change the transpose.. and you will get in arragement view sample chopped with each element with different transpose
it works with wavs.. to edit midi notes with synths you can use "pitch" effect, from ableton build-in midi effects
