how did you find out? if you were snooping, you can't say anything because that'll just get you in more trouble. if you found out legitimately, ask her why she kept it a secret ("i didn't want you to get upset and think it meant anything because it doesn't.") chances are it's nothing. just about every girl i know wants to stay on friendly terms with her ex, because that's a nice thing to do well, there's that and girls tend to like as much male attention as they can get.

don't make accusations and immediately put her on the defensive. just ask in a neutral way. "are you still talking to paul?" not "why are you still talking to paul? are you cheating on me?"

Yo, seriously man, just be around some friends, since you are at college go out and try to relax yourself in a group setting, dwelling a lot on it isn't helpful.
