I'm trying to find a download of DJ Dan's early nineties mix tape "Funky Techno Tribe", it's a live mix that was quite popular in the nineties rave days.
There was even a post on here a year or so ago about a site with tons of T.O. rave sets to DL, but I can't seem to find the link or the thread it was in (yes, I did try the search function!).
That live set was there, although they had labelled it wrong.
Does anyone know that site OR where I can find this old set?
Nice, those Dan sets aren't the one but MAN I love those old bass heavy bouncy breaks!!!! You just can't find that sound anymore. I used to try and dig through Beatport hoping someone was still making that kinda breaks so I could mix some in every know and then, but they're all making this "light" crap, not bass heavy bouncy stuff.....nothing like how it used to be....
Yeah, i found that link too but that's not it. That is from one of the Funky Techno Tribe parties, but not the mixtape that was labelled "Funky Techno Tribe".
I do know it was on that one site, but again just labelled incorrectly....
