Alot of Tiesto productions and remixes in there...you might be able to pull off a demo with either CD, but if it were in a store, honestly I would just put it back down. CD1 seems like you borrowed heavy influences from the 2nd disc of Nyana..not saying that you ripped him of, but it kinda seems coincidental that you share 8 tracks on 1 CD...
I think using old tracks vs using overused tracks is a different issue...no offense, but you seem to teeter on the edge of these two.
Good luck...if there is a version available for download, I would like a link though!

i dont think i would buy the CD if i saw it in the store unless i had a huge giftcard or something. i prolly would have bought it when i first was getting into trance having listend to a sample of it and not really knowing anything about anything.

There are just alot of tracks on the list that are too "mainstream". just too many tracks on there i have or have heard before.
thats not necesarily a bad thing. I really like the "mainstream" tracks on there. but i feel as a new DJ you need to get some more relativly unknown tracks to give more of a fresher sound.

I know and understand how you can feel that these tracks are your style. but i think to really pull things off and really show yourself as an artist you have to dig deeper. you gotta be unique. this tracklist is good, but its not unique.

i'm sorta going thru teh same thing as a DJ, trying to dig deeper and get some less mainstream songs to give myself a fresher sound.

this is definaly a nice mix to do and keep foryourself and give to your friends and maybe give out as a promo. but not as a DJ compilation to show yourself off to the public as a new artist.

just my 2cents.
good luck with the mixs
