mustangs!? r u smoking KRACK!!?? American sports cars cannot even compare to the european and japanese models. while america thinks about more laws to enforce on the highway such as going 100kph/65mph while europeans are thinking about how to go faster than each other. if youve ever driven on germany's autobahns, which is simply the best road that can be travelled in the world, you could be going 100 mph, stay your ass in the right lane, because there will always be a BMW, porsche, mercedes, farrari, etc thats blasting down the road at 140, 160, sometimes, on rare occasion 200 mph. ive seen. u dont even see them coming until u see a flash of color and a zooming engine, then its already far ahead of you. its simply a wonder to behold

i was just representin for america. Home of 3400 lb cars that go 200 MPH in a circle door to door fun.
Edit: Heinz ohh and what car beat out the Skyline GTR around a track? The Corvette Z06. What car beat out both the Porsche GT3 and the Ferrari 360 Modena around a track by a nice margin, The ford GT. What car has to sit back and get lapped time after time in the Le Mans tour by the American cars? The BMW and the Porsche and the Ferrari.
So please refrain from insulting america w.o the facts to back it up.
And look back to the 24 hours at Daytona Le Mans race, What car was even ahead of teh Audi R8 Prototype racer? ya the Corvette C5-R (GTS class even) Driven by the 2 best Nascar drivers (Earnhardt JR and Tony Stewart) people who drive in circles week after week beating out professional road course drivers. whats up with that? ohh ya and in an AMERICAN car.
|
Gotta hand it to America for Drag racers though...300+ mph in 6 seconds. The GT40 is Fords fastest car. The Modena is not Ferrari's fastest(I'm talkin bout the Enzo) Oh yeah...Le mans France last year...Who beat the Corvette? Ferrari...WHy? The Corvette kept on braking down...
Here let me show you something:
FINAL RACE: Petit Le Mans, Oct 18 - won by AUDI (Lehto, Herbert)
* Frank Biela / Marco Werner wins 2003 ALM championship *
American Le Mans Challenge at Miami, Sept 27 - won by AUDI (Lehto, Herbert)
* Johnny O’ Connell / Ron Fellows wins 2003 GTS championship *
Laguna Seca, Sep 7 - won by AUDI (Biela, Werner)
* Sascha Maassen/Lucas Luhr wins 2003 GT championship *
Grand Prix of Mosport, Aug 17 - won by AUDI (Biela, Werner)
Le Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres, Aug 10 - won by AUDI (Biela, Werner)
Grand Prix of Sonoma, July 27, 2003 won by LPM 675 Lola EX257- MG (Weaver, Leitzinger) *** first time in ALM history a LMP675 car took pole and race win ***
Round 2, GP of Atlanta, Georgia, June 29 - won by AUDI (Lehto, Herbert)
Le Mans 12 Hour - won by Bentley (Kristensen, Smith, Capello)
Round 1, Sebring 12 Hours, MAR 14 - won by AUDI (Biela, Werner, Peter)
*** return of Bentley to American racing in 81 years ***
Oh yeah and the Bentley driver was none other than the previous years Audi driver... Now when you prove to me that Audi is an American company(Not a subdivision of Volkswagen Ag of Germany) I will beleive you.
Oh yeah...This is only Le Mans. Now we all know that Rally is Europian but what about Touring cars? Same deal huh? American cars may be fast and big, but they have no agility(Aside from the GT40 which is truly a marvelous car)
Whee!
