Hello! JP8000 VSTi and sounds (Extalin and others..)

Hi,

Extalin and Ross if I am correct, any news about making that JP8000 VSTi you were talking about in another posting if I remember correctly. Sounds like a really good idea. I think the only way to get a VSTi sound exactly like a JP8000 is when it has the actual JP8000 waveforms (especially that supersaw) as oscillators.

Cheers, Mike.

.....or you could get VAZ Modular and wait for my JP-emulation to be ready!

I can tell you, this will be so exact-sounding that you will not be able to hear the difference!!!

There will be some MP3-demos soon! I think we will play a game. "Is it VAZ or is it a JP8k?!"

Cheers,
Kire

I'm excited . I've never tried vaz... I'll have to get the demo. But I have tried your soundset that came with z3ta+ and I must say I'm impressed.

Yes, I will!

I've just been told that my synth maybe will be bundled with future versions of VAZ!

Hi Ross,

That sounds great!! Will you be using the original JP8000 waveforms as oscillators for your VSTi? I don't know much about synth design, but isn't this the only way to get a true emulation of a synth or am I wrong about that? Can you perhaps already post some specs, like will it have EQ's cause they seem to be an import part of sound design and I never seem to get those right? Also, will it have the possibility to import JP8000 patches?!
