Caspar Pound
Just a random appreciation thread for this amazing artist who tragically past away in April 2004 or brain cancer. Couldn't find any other threads about him on here. He produced under many different aliases in many different genres, and was the owner of Rising High Records which he started when he was just 20. I have only heard the most obvious stuff by Rising High Collective, The Hypnotist and his remixes of Union Jack, Metal Master, OBX etc.
caspar pound was a true legend in the scene...great producer

This man rocks, brought us so many classics and such high quality works, it was a big shame that he passed away in 2004, some of my favourite works from the man is:
obx - eternal prayer (caspar pound mix)
new london school of electronics - voices of the rainfores (blackout mix)
rising high collective - liquid
a homeboy, a hippie & a funky dredd - total confusion (heavenly mix)
and of course the 1994 classic
union jack - two full moons & trout (caspar pound mix)

Magnificent producer indeed and his talents are soo missed.
I have still soo much i haven't heard from him and which i def. want to hear. I like his remix of Hardfloor - Acperience, to which Hardfloor returned the favour by remixing R.H.C.'s Fever Called Love some months later and also a yet another remix of R.H.C.'s Liquid Thoughts. The first one is better tho.

All the infodropping has been done already I see, so I'll just add my appreciation for this guy. Shame that he's not with us anymore, dance music could've used a guy like him around these days.
The Hypnotist - House Is Mine/Pioneers Of The Warped Groove
Temple Of Acid - Temple Of Acid/Vortex Virus
