Low-end Hardware Effects Processors question...

Hi.

I have a mainly hardware studio, and I'm looking to buy a fairly cheap effects processor. I just basically need some advice so that I can get the best deal for my money.

I've been looking at two in particular: the Lexicon MPX-110 and the Behringer Virtualizer Pro DSP2024P. The Behringer is slightly cheaper from what I can see, but Lexicon tends to have a better reputation as far as effects processors go. I just need a really good reverb, basically.

I don't really wanna spend more than £100, but I'm happy to buy second-hand (most of my studio is second-hand anyway.) If anyone could explain the basic differences between these choices, or recommend an alternative better one, then that'd be really appreciated.

Cheers.

the virtualizer is ok. lexicon is, well, a lexicon, but there is a vast difference between their low end stuff and say a PCM 80.

Anyway- look no further than the zoom 1201 or 1204.
Cheap and very very good. Can pick up a 1201 for under £50, and a 1204 is about £10/20 more as it has midi clock and some memories.
Ive lost count of the number of top studios that have one of these sitting alongside top end lexicons and neves. I personally have 3.

if you must get a lexicon, grab an MPX100- reverb is the one thing lexicon absolutely kill veryone else with- and even on this model its fantastic.

Oh, and dont buy them new- but you already knew that.

You could always investigate some reverb guitar pedals if you are on a really tight budget....
