Also I doubt it is damon hill because they got him onto the show to try and prove it wasn't him.

One thing for sure is Damon managed a superb lap time, 1.46.3, as you would expect. He won't be ranked on the power laps board, instead we are starting a new F1 section, for pro-drivers to battle it out. But is he the Stig? Who can say for sure...

i just wanna say top gear is actually great to watch now.....they got rid of the dead wood ....and injected new blood...its funny as fuck now

well as far as i can gather from net reports the stig is generally Ben Collins, an F3 driver, but there are times when he cant do it and others step in Peter Dumbreck, some touring car driver, being the main one but with others such as Jason Plato and Damon Hill very occasionally too.

whether all that is tru or not i dont know but it all seems pretty plausable to me from what i have read.

If it was Herbert something would be going wrong with the car all the time. He was the unluckiest F1 driver I have ever seen, the amount of car failure he had was ridiculous.

The only reason he was on it is because Davina pulled out at the last minute. They managed to get him at short notice.

I think that's coz he was already there Still reckon he's the Stig.
