Well but you can't look at it that way. Anyone would do what Israel did. Imagine if the US had over 120 rockets fired at them in ONE day. Would the US go through UN channels? Hell no. Its a matter of national security. Sure, only 1 person died from the rockets, but that isnt the point. What if all the 80 hit family homes, rec centers, etc?
So what is going on now, blame is on both sides. If Hamas want to end it, they should stop saying on public tv that they are calling for a third wave of attacks on Israel. Israel will go after them stronger and it wont end. Its cat and mouse with these two governments.
