a lot was already said, so i'll just add my $0.02...
i thought the sound system was awful for edgar v. i couldn't hear anything! i know it was tweaked for paul, but you would think it would sound better than that for edgar.
WAY TOO PACKED at the beginning. i was 'human sandwiched' more times than i'd like to remember. a lot of people were pretty rude about walking by and pushing and shoving - awful. but there were a few that were courteous and as always, it was greatly appreciated.
we're all in the same situation, why make it worse???
on to paul's set...i thought 2-4am was awful. he played some really great tracks that i was looking forward to hearing, but the flow was really off and i just couldn't get into it. the crowdedness may have had something to do with it, but i really think it was paul.
from ~4am on he was incredible, playing tracks that you can't possibly stand still to. the dance floor cleared out a bit, and we all started to have a really good time. buenaventura was MASSIVE. i will forever love that track, especially live!
around 6am we moved towards the front of the dance floor and enjoyed the rest of the morning dancing our asses off and loving every great track. umer + your gf (sorry, i didn't catch her name), dom, rory - you guys made the last 2 hours so much fun!!
highlights of the night (there were so many, but i'll keep it to 3):
buenaventura
Steve Agnello & Sebastian Ingrosso - Yeah
Gerry Cueto - Messages (PvD edit) (i never imagined it could be so good live)
cons:
- the crowd (until ~4am)
- soundsystem
- STROBE LIGHTS. there should be a warning outside the club: caution, excessive stobe lights! they were making me so dizzy and gave me the worst headache. it was so painful...
