ishkur is an idiot who just knows some names and invented some stupid connections between genres,
the worst thing in that site is the kind of samples he put there to demonstrate each genre,, which in almost all cases are totally not related to the genre their supposed to be in.
i dont really mind what he thinks of each track on its own. just the stupid corelations he made there, i hope people dont take him too seriously, coz thats pretty much the only 'genre guide' on the net....

Actually, as far as I know, Ish has been a part of the rave scene since the very early 90's, and is just jaded with the whole commercialization of the scene. I agree that some tracks don't belong where they are, but almost all? Besides his classifications of the newer commercial EDM, I found his genre descriptions almost spot-on.

I like a couple of the "Epic Trance" songs he has listed, but I also think he has a point. Long, drawn-out breakdowns can be extremely cheesy, and are way overdone, IMO. Which is probably why much of the new trance coming out is moving away from these techniques.
