the bass is phat... The track has a different sound to it... Sometimes the vocals seems to land offbeat (maybe your track is 1bpm off or something)... the percussion is a bit too punchy and distracting... the breakdown is th ebest part! <3
The vocals also seem to lack clarity... what did you do add a chorus? Sounds like a good idea, but it wasn't executed very well.
The track also seems over compressed and has too much attack.. Sounds like the Reason compressor... x_X if you wanna hide the reason compressor sound :P just slap a Scream in the mastering chain... it smooths out those harsh peaks and makes it sound warm.
The entire track is lacking by about 6-8db... put a limiter on the entire thing and normalize - will make it sound much more present.
When the vocal plays for the first time, it would of sounded good if the bassline followed the progression right at 2:10 on 'why' and then that would of led into the piano real nice...
yeah alan m has a point... a GOOD limiter (try voxengo elephant VST) can solve your problem... don't use a crap one :P you'll just be hardclipping like madness... but the best solution would probably be some soft clipping... like a good old tube amp simulation plugin like Scream (if you're using reason).
Or just turn down the attack on your master compressor...that's probably th eproblem... heh you guys with your quick-fix mastering solutions... "FAST attack MAX... SLOW RELEASE MIN"

Wow, this sounds pretty good man. Yeah the little vocal samples might be too short. I would use a word or two there instead...something more teasing...
I really like the musical elements...very uplifting.
I also love that guitar in the break...
