CDJ 200s! .02 pitch, great for trance and relatively cheap (compared to others), made by pioneer.

BTW in your previous post did you mean 200s rather than 100s? Don't get 100s they are out dated and the 200s are better imo.

To be honest I dont know that much about axis 9 and such. They look/sound kinda shady and poor, dunno though.

I would go with the philosophy of buy cheap buy twice, or buy medium/high quality the first time and it will last.

You don't want to buy something cheap then find out its not really what you wanted or it doesn't do the job. Because when you try and sell it you will lose a lot of money, plus have to buy better stuff the second time around. So my suggestion is save up for what you really want, and waht does the job. And imo CDJ 200s are a good choice. GL with your decision.

Ask around and see waht people think about the "cheaperish" CD decks like axis 9 and other denons, bascily anything besides pioneer.

Here is another fourm with good info on DJ equipment, do a search there for what you are looking at and see waht people have said about them.

I am also looking for a new equipment, and I want to ask
what is exacvtly the pitch increment?

does that means, that if I get a song beatmatched at the same speed, eve though they are equal, one song will start running faster or slower than the other one, and they will run out of sync?

Thank You.

pitch increment is how accurate you can change the tempo of one song to match it with the one thats playing. So the more accurate teh pitch increment is (CDJ 200s .02 vs Axis 9/something .1) the closer you can match the song, and thus you dont have to ride the pitch all the time to make sure the two songs don't drift. Its just a matter of ease so you can make long transitions and the like, easier and better since you don't have to consistantly adjust the pitch.

I hope this is accurate and helps, if not Im sure someone will correct me.

actually, i will always be partial toward denon. i'm not a fan of pioneer at all. after selling consumer audio, and comparing the two -denon will kill pioneer, in sound quality, and build quality.

denon has a rep for being durable, and functional. people seem to have mixed opinions about pioneer. -but they are the standard, while denon isn't.

also, denon's warranty on their dj products is the best i have EVER seen. they really do stand behind their products.

i cant say i agree with you on this at all..

ive used sooo many denon players with one thing fucked up, or 2 things fucked up, it seems like theres always something wrong with someones denon.. ive seen so many clubs with 2 dual cd players because there always something fucked up on of the decks.. and belivee me it wasnt for some crazy 3 deck mixing...but the pios arent perfect either, but in my opinion they are stronger, least these 1000s anyways..

i am still gonna STRONGLY suggest you dont waste your money on cheap shit.. instant gratfication is outweighed by lasting quality imo

i'll tell ya... i love beatport... but there is no way i would agree that you can get even close to (let alone "all") of the latest tracks off of there

i find that alot of stuff that i want cannot be found on there or it is added to the site way after the track has released... this is not always the case, but for reasons as such i have both vinyl and cd

and go for the good cdj's.... yeah yeah they cost alot... just bite the bullet once and you will never turn back. i have the cdj1000's and i have to tell you... having accurate decks pays off because the more accurate the beatmatching is, the more you can focus on eqing etc instead of babysitting your decks

at the absolute worst case scenario... have a cheap deck with a good needle and record the vinyls as high quality wavs and burn to a cd to play on your cdjs....
