Sultan & the Greek - Wadi

More of a 'desert' feel than specifically middle-eastern.

Juno Reactor I know has some really cool, middle eastern and indian influenced stuff, especially on the CD "Bible of Dreams".

don't mix eastern asia with middle east. its not the same. middle eastern sound = arabic influenced sound. while eastern asia sound = chineese and japaneese influenced sound.
this is a common mistake lots of people make.

i will return with loads of middle eastern sounding tunes soon. just gotta go to the gym now.

God is god is genius tho, taking an arabic rhythm, adding a slow psy groove under it but making it sound like belgian new beat and adding natacha atlas to sing some lines in arabic

I understand, I know there is a difference. Juno Reactor combines various cultures, even in one album. "Bible Of Dreams" had a mixture of Indian (like goa, Indian chants, drums etc) with Middle Eastern/Arabic sounding percussion and chants as well. Kind of a mixture of the two. Juno Reactor also combined Goa trance and Industrial music with Native American chants and percussion in "Shango". The music he makes is really a fusion of a lot of stuff and thats what makes it so cool.

I too like the asian-style vocals in trance songs, although I cant think of any off the top of my head.

EDIT: Ooh, try CM - Dream Universe (Tilt's Eastern Storm Remix)

There's not that much in terms of vocals, but they fit the song well. And it's got some chinese-sounding flute type melody in too.
