You will LOVE that festival if you have never been. I have a billion vids of it from this year, Beastie Boys, Signal, Hawtin, Moogwai (WICKED Uk band), Timo Maas, even Deco from the 80s was there (very weird live lol). If you want any vids of it let me know. Oh and you must check out Sonar by day as well, it's a total blast. (Emery convinced me to go this year to that where as in 05 I only did Sonar by Night). I basically did what you are planning Sarah for next year in 05, did Sonar then hit up Ibiza for a few days of the opening jams. Took a train to Valencia then bus to Denia then a Ferry over.
As for balancing out your party schedule I say listen to Jon.

A friend of mine did Sonar this year, he said there are so many aspects to Sonar that many people don't go to the actual festival, they go to the after parties.
I've been to barca before, just not during Sonar. The timing seems right for next year though.

Yes we are now going together. I had booked my time but am extending it because Paul and Kate won't be in Amsterdam the weekend I was planning on going.

I promise from this point on.. everytime you hear the word Ibiza you will get a silly little smile on your face. It has been a year since I have been there and it still won't go away.

We are not going to do everything in that list...(but we will do a lot)...I guess its better to say that I'm not doing everything - the young guy may attempt it. I am heading to London for a week afterwards so I don't want my brain to be completly mush by the time I get there.

How much did the tickets to fly there / back cost you ???
