Breakinbeats, what's weird is that it wasn't really a small venue. It's the same club they always have the shows at here. I dont' get it too becuase the outside area could have fit another 300 people easily....
Hi Natalie, welcome! Can't wait to hang out with some more cool peeps!
Well onto my mini review and I'll post some pics. I do have some pretty neat vids. I'll ask Scott if he wants to host them.
Preparty at Scotts was kickass, bunch of people there and bunch of new people too. Hopefully, next time we'll get to hang out for a longer while. Stupid Thom had a trainwreck pool going on (numbered like 0 through 30) as if Tiesto would wreck every single song, haha, good ol Trey ends up going balls out and selecting "zero" trainwrecks! I had to take equipment malfunction into consideration (i mean pvd messed up twice here guys) and picked one trainwreck, turns out I won that shit! (although, even the 1 was debateable)
When we got to the club there was a huge line, doesn't make sense to me, when we were at PVD the last time there was no line. Who knows So sorry you couldn't get in Sara (and greg).
After we got in they were handing out tiesto wrist bands, so that was pretty cool, we all got some, and needed them too, it was hot in there. Tiesto finally gets on around 12:40 ish, and of course Jack immediately knows all the songs. Pretty cool shit, but the sound system was whack like bernie mac on crack. I think they took down some speakers and the sound was just lacking and muffled overall, so I can't tell if Tiesto was laying less banging trakcs as usual or just that the sound system was taking away from it. Anyway, coming off seeing him at Space and compared to PVD here a couple months ago, I can only give the actual set a 5 out of 10 IMHO! Of course the night overall was a 10 out of 10! Just like Scott said, nothing really stood out. It's all good though, everyone was still having a blast.
Somehow my wife got a record that was signed with a silver marker (kickass!:eyes , I tried to play that shit today but the needle was melting the ink and making marks in the signature..... (yeah, that's right, double eek!) anyways pacha4life brought a bunch of his friends too, must have known about 35 people in the club! It was great. Pacha and me went up to the stairs and was hanging on the railing after T was done and I tried to grab him like an animal as he walked by but he swiftly dodged out of the way as if I had Lupus. You can see in the pics below that he was completely ignoring Pacha and his incessent barking for a picture. (I mean how would YOU react?) haha, of course this only reinforced nik's belief of him being a "jerk". haha
Anyway, good to see Javi back, and meet peaches, and everyone else. The MR2 I saw was insane.....
sucks we missed the after party GD we had to work the next day.....

"tiesto look here, look where i'm pointing, hey tiesto!, hey hey, tiesto!"
"tiesto!, hey tiesto!, hey look here, tiesto!, picture, hey!"

"tiesto, tiesto, look, look, hey tiesto"

"i don't get why he's ignoring me, my pupils are only dialated 4 inches!"
