and the water this is fucked up. i cant believe they did that. they also dont allow you to bring water OUT! its rediculous. the staff there overall are ok but at times are over bearing.
i did take biology lol... once alcohol is in your blood.. the liver cleans it up... and drinking water wont have an effect on it. rehydration has nothing to do with being drunk... thats being hungover..

water dilutes alcohol and therefore speeds up the process since it is faster to clean a small amount 100 times than to clean a large amount. this is a basic priciple. you can get more done if you divide a huge task into multiple smaller tasks.

I've been taught otherwise by each HS science class and a mother who's a nurse.

OK, this is what they told me:
"Thank you for this information. I was uninformed about this situation on Saturday night, so it is with my sincerest apologize that the information that you received seemed unsatisfactory, and as a patron of our establishment, one should never be talked to in such a manor. A little bit of insight for you, ABC has requested that we stop serving from the hour of 1:40am to 2am to avoid any transferring of alcoholic substances. They have requested that all beverage containers be pulled during that 20 minute period. I hope this gives you a little insight to why we do not serve anything during that time. As far as the language that was used, I deem that totally unacceptable and there will be ramifications for using such abrasive language. If you have any other concerns feel free to contact me directly

I feel bad for him. Hopefully he will look into how his establishment is being protrayed. I've been to many, many nightclubs (i'm old ) were staff can be such assess, but this one took the cake.

Good to hear that some people care and are willing to listen to and correct issues that patrons bring to their attention.

I also sent them a message about closing early. This was his reply:
There was an altercation, and it was not Belo that was involved at all, it was neighboring clubs, the SD police was undermanned that evening and it was not that we could not accommodate the crowd or venue, but to assist the police in there situation they requested we help them out on this evening, and it is my practice to be in compliance with local law enforcement. I hope to see you down to Belo again soon, send me a note and I will make sure you are on our house list for the evening and thank you once again for letting me know about this, it is the only way I can make sure things like this do not happen in the future.
