Whoa I dunno where to start !
I mean all the DJ's last night in the tech room were just blowing the place up.
Sander killed it, first time seeing the guy and I am very impressed, the hype is very real
Armin is Armin, he played a very good set and he had the crowd going for the whole 4 hours
This was actually my first time seeing the Second Sun dudes performing and I dunno why people bash them so much, these guys are great, fun to watch with a ton of energie
ABOVE n BEYOND, what can I say the whole reason I went to this Bal En Blanc, to me these guys are TRANCE and last night they proved it. Bomb after bomb, the place was going nuts when they played. Just amazing crowd interaction and awesome track selection. Those boys were worth every penny. Simply brilliant. I can only imagine the crazzyness if they would have played like around 4 ocklock.
PREACH, i stayed around for about an hour of Preachs set, man the guy was killing it, playing so hard to I just had to leave cuz my knee caps were shot.
I really have no choice but to laugh at security. I mean they search and search yet how is it everyone gets their shit inn ? But rules are rules I guess.
I went inn around 11 20 and the VIP line was moving pretty slow, at that point I was thinking of WTF great waste of 30 bucks, but in the end it was totally worth it. The VIP area in the TECH Room visually was nothing special, but the quick access to the washroom, and to have the privilage to hang around the DJ booth was totally worth it.
I got to meet Marcus Schultz, the guy is awesome, he was dancing with all the people taking pictures haha super dude.
Umm really not sure what to say about the house room, I think as far as energie goes the Tech Room raped it. I dunno but to me house is too slow. The set up in the house room was pretty cool.
All in all BEB 13 sets the par for me again, its simply the best party out there. Congratulations on another sucessfull edition ! Looking foreward to number 14 ! I had a blast ! Met some wicked ppl.

My review that I posted in the MTL review thread....

This was my first Bal, and overall it was a very good experience. I loved seeing what some people came up with to wear, some very creative stuff ! The bathroom situation was a little annoying, it was a little journey in itself just to use the restroom, not to mention the wait times. Also the technical difficulties they were having in the tech room during Armins set were extremely distracting !! I really enjoyed Armin & Above and Beyond, but I couldn't make it to Preach's set, too tired !
Partied with lots of amazing TAs, and as usual they are mostly from TOTA Too many to list, but you know who you are
My wtf of the night: waiting in line for the washroom, when three massive juice monkies come out of the same stall, and these guys were HUGE !!
Can't wait to see the pictures !! |

Yeah we just got back an hour ago as well...
I think every partier has to experience Bal en Blanc... the night was truly spectacular... It was my first time. Mayhem and Glamour all in one! I am still in awe.
Trance Room = One Full Blown Rave
House Room = One Massive Circuit Party
Sander van Doorn was amazing... great track selection... then headed over to hear Rauhofer's set... Dirty, Dark House... loved it... I got there at 10 so it was pretty early and not busy... at around 2 AM we were in the VIP for Rauhofer's set and I looked out and the room was JAMMED PACK... it was insane...
All DJ's did a great job... Second Sun, Armin, Offer Nisim...
Above & Beyond were the highlight for me... Trance Room was where it was at... stayed for the entire duration of their set... by around 10 I couldnt make it anymore so I didnt get to hear Preach... walked through the house room one last time and Deep Dish was Deep Dish... nothing too special but the place was still rammed
Beautiful people everywhere... Great music... Montreal knows how its done!
