I'm also glad to know that you mixed these live; I was thinking due to the quality of mixing that you might be using software (not that there's anything wrong with that). Much respect!

Thanks mate. I honestly don't know how to mix using software, haha

I liked your use of effects throughout the set and think you've got some original sounding tricks up ur sleeve. Would love to hear your newer episodes too, and am curious to know if you have residencies anywhere in Melb?
Keep it Krankin' mate!

I always appreciate people's honestly and totally agree with the mixing. I do believe though as i have done the other hardtryles, i have improved a bit more on my mixing and finer detial.

Thanks for you great compliments dude, that means a lot to me thanks. Yeah have a listen to the other ones, i know you will like them.

Sadly enough i don't haveany residencies in Melbourne. Maybe it's due to my laziness and not giving enough demo cds out, but it is who you know aswell. Hopefully soon though.

One sad thing is though that i can't use turntables yet and use cd players, the denon dns5000. When i try and use cdj100,200, i can't mix as good as this, and most times that's what in the clubs. I really have to learn these cd players, and turntables soon.

Thanks Magnetonium. Most people like either the first half, or the second half. It's good to know more people are aprreciating both

Hi Kaya, I've had a chance to listen to Hardtryle 4 and can say that your right. This mix rocks. Really tight and sick tunes. Sounds really professional. I love how you progress through styles, keeps it from getting bland which I find with sets based on one particular style.
I'm in much the same boat gigs wise, but its good to see you've managed to promote yourself on this forum, which I'm yet to do. I'm currently working on a hard techno mix that I hope to post on here soon. Havent been happy with it yet though. Its good to be you're own harshest critic . Keep up the great work.

Thanks dude. I understand exactly what you're saying and that's mostly the reason i'm very skeptical about listening to sets because most the time i get bored aswell, the mix isn't going anywhere.

It's takes so much effort selecting the tracks i do and when i hear ones worthy, i get so excited.

Yeah gigs are hard to get but keep trying dude and the best thing to do is what i'm doing, have a compilation series for people to get to know your mixing style.

Oh yes definately am my harshest critic and as you say, is the best way to go.

Thanks mate, let me know when your set is up!

wow, what a compliment, thanks so much, comments like this make all that hard work worth while and i'm so glad you can see the effort i put in.

Even when i complete the whole mix, i'm only half way done. I could release it like that but that wont appeal anyone. I got to make my own original intros, with vocals, then add the voice overs, then design the covers up to the standard i do, then i have to promote them in like 6 forums and my myspace, msg people in forums and on myspace comments, and i'm glad you understand my efforts. This is why i will keep doing them even though they take so much out of me.

You'll be amazed what you can do when you put all that time into something, that's when you realize your potential!

Thankyou thankyou thankyou.

Kaya

thank you very much for your kind words buddy, compliments like that make me continue making them.

I have been at uni and very busy so haven't released any lately but next month i will be releasing up to hardtryle 8, so stay tuned.

Yes, a few muddle ups in the first and little less in the second, but i'm getting better as they progress. Tell me what you think of 03 and 04, I believe 04 is perfect mixing.

Kaya
