Yep, I usually have it so so the needle on the meter is just slightly ticking (about 2db in gain reduction so not much at all).

I never start off with it on the master, but I always end up putting it on down the line, same with a limiter.

What about delay on the master for added warmth? makes my plucks sounds warm, why not do it on the entire master track. sounds logical to me.

I dont do it because it makes my track not feel 'together' for some reason always.. Probably because I always try to use different attack release settings for each band.. maybe they need to be more similar. I do more and more bus group compression and limiting for drums etc these days that kind of emulate what i used to do on the master.

but i see other people using it for other genres like madeon. but idk i usually don't use it.
