Artimus and I have been soley working on new tracks and material. Favorites right now between us have to be from Ian Betts, and Dan Stone. I love Ian’s sound, his hard driving beats and solo riffs is the sound I enjoy. I discovered Dan Stone after obtaining Fade Away Remixes from my favorite 2006 producers Static Blue. I may be working with Ian later, either him or Gerry Cueto, I need someone to give my Fusion Remixes an extra special ‘kick’ I personally have been working with Absynth and some other synth tools to bring my tracks I have been working on closer to completion. I can only say that this mix I completed recently has to be my best work yet, and has some stuff in the mix that will suprise many of you!
For Saturday’s event, plan on me dropping some Boom Jinx tracks, and a couple from my favorite producers and Djs Static Blue, Icone and John O’Callaghan. Not to mention Arty will drop some tracks by our old friend Sean Tyas, and some tracks he will be playing from Matt Rowen & Jaytech, along side some epical trance from Amex and 3rd Moon. There is also a special Track that we will play arty has been dying to debut, needless to say you all are just gonna have to be in the house to hear this one~!
Depending also on how we work our set, we may have everything going on in the booth this night. Arty’s plan for his debut was to use both turntables, both cdjs, both his laptop and mine, and my synth keyboard. I don’t think that mixer has that many ports, so we may limit this a bit.
The mix I have been promising all of you should be done tonight. I had a friend master it since I have not had time. I wanted to kill some of the distortion that came out on the last mix I did. I noticed on New Skies there was some. Me always striving for perfection I wanted this one to sound just right. This mix includes some of M.I.K.E.’s best work, I added some of his sound in there to bring the mix to life. I’ll check in with my guy and hopefully, I can post this tonight. Since this is the debut CD for our new Duo group “The Tranceformers” I want to also make sure everything is properly balanced.
Also, there will be 2 mix compilations that we have for this event. The second mix both Arty and I are handing out the night of the event is a special set, included are some new tracks I just received on Promo that you all should enjoy.
The way 1015 has been gearin up on their monthlies and weekly events, both Arty and I are expecting a packed house this weekend. For those of you who disagree, a good example of how the vibe was last weekend at Local Love should be proof. If you haven’t been to 1015 in a while, I strongly suggest you all come check out the club.
I am not the only one who loves M.I.K.E. Back then this man to me was a god. He still is in many ways, and I can’t wait to see if he drops some classics for us.
